Thankfulness is in the air this holiday season

Normally, this laser engraver is put to good use etching items around the plant for proper identification and signage, not etching a pumpkin pie.

But that’s the thing about the members of our nuclear fleet – they’re on the lookout for innovative ways to utilize resources.

During this season of thanksgiving and throughout the year, we’re thankful for a growing culture of innovation within the Duke Energy nuclear fleet.

We’re thankful for the people who are working to keep the lights on, our homes warm and our ovens baking this holiday season.

We’re thankful for reliable, carbon-free nuclear energy.
